This is for a friend of mine's mom. let the stickles dry, distress the SB die cut, assemble and add to card base. voile' all done . beautiful card . image KennyK for Freida. the zigfield  follies ladies image from graphic 45 curtain call borders. Background paper(purple glitter paper) Core' dinations elegance. At least that's close to what it looks like. it actually looks like coL e' dinations. And that's with my reading glasses and paper in hand

Another Triple Time stamp card

Still not totally happy with this technique. need to make sure my mats fit and look good. before i started putting in the mats, I liked that better. I may make a card with just the steps before the mats

Next is a happy accident .I was cutting some beautiful paper for the inside of a BD card ,
only I adhered it to the front of the card base. somebody is going to get a CAS card. you cant get more clean and simple than this

I Call this Girls Night Out . There are 3 different images. Each one has their own artist that made them.
On the left is "Darling Mummy" drawn by Anna Stillwell. The top sticky contains the copics used for Darling Mummy. In the center is Witch Mercedes drawn by BettyQueenofHalloweenRoberts. Her copics are listed in the middle sticky .
On the right is Maleficent drawn by Lindsay of Sassy Studio Designs. If you don't recognize her or remember her, she appears in Sleeping Beauty from the 1959 movie produced by Disney. Her copics are listed on the last sticky note .

Something new to Look @ and a VOTE

Been doing this A Project A Day keeps the stress away for about 5 days now . If you go to the website, you will see it is a closed website . That doesnt mean you can join , it just means the folks who started it want to control the access so you have to request Membership. Once you're there you can visit the other members folders and create one for yourself. Mostly its a reminder to take some time for yourself EVERYDAY. So I have 3 layouts for you to view and a Poll once you've

One example

of trying to get as much bang for the buck as possible . this was originally a 6x6 piece of patterned paper. I made a few , all right maybe some die cut butterflies . I think I can use the remaining paper as a background for something . I'll put it in my stash. If you dont know most crafters have a "stash" of stuff for use at a later time . when or how ? only the future will tell. anyways take a gander . The yellow background here is simply a bright yellow piece of card stock so that you can see the details. this is the flash version.

Hodge Podge

I belong to a group of bloggers called Paper Bloggers Re-united. Some of us recently attended Scrapfest 2013 in Minneapolis, MN. We took a bunch of pics and I'll be posting them through out the next couple weeks or maybe longer .
Here we are on day 3 of our trip. left to right.  me, Brenda, Nancy, and Maggie.

We have had some interesting conversations on our little blog . One of them was about shoes. I had mentioned how boots go with anything including shorts. Today presented a situation to be so attired . I was wearing shorts and the closest shoes where my ostrich boots. I originally thought I might have carried out the trash but that couldnt have been the case as its Sunday. Trash doesnt run on Sundays. Must have been when honey drove me to get coffee @ the local QT.

these might give it away what I'm working on . Its no big secret My fellow PBRs have been promised die cut butterflies. You can see their boxes which I made and decorated too . they shall have no duplicates. each sheet cuts 15 . one each for all seven and eight for my stash . multi tasking making theirs and rebuilding my stash Awesome. now to explain as there are 10 pbr's. 2 have been completed from what was in my stash . used up my entire stash of butterflies.Plus me , makes 10.

today must be my lucky day . I walk in after grabbing the camera and look whats in the center of my desk! A completed project. I did NOT move a thing to take this pic . there is one more pic but it shows my neighbors messy yard thru the window. the significance is the tool caddy that normally rests in front of the window has been moved . Originally it gave me more room to work but now its just more room to make a mess on my desk LOL

A side step back to school card

I thought of my friend Nancy, who belongs to a blog group that I belong to, when I made this . the paper is Astrobrights.
her platinum hair is done up in copics. i was actually trying to practice how to do black hair when I came up with this
LMBO. opposite end of the spectrum.  the rest of her is also copics. the thing behind the word Back is a clock if you can't tell. freehand, not a stamp or digi. the image is courtesy of SSD

One more Back to School Card Darlene Domel style

Darlene is the Artistic Director for Stampland Chicago . their web site is under construction currently . Now hers are much better but this is just an imitation with a few slight changes. She normally uses a white card base. mine is a blue berry sort of color (ie purple and blue). We both used Eclipse tape for the precise lines between colors. She exclusively uses Marvy Matchables colored inks. Me , I used a Hampton Arts silver ink pad, an Archivers Antique robins egg blue ink, SU concorde crush,SU real red, and SU Winter White (bottom left corner). the lettering is SU lovely lilac, using some clear alphabet stamps from my stash(a recent gift. thanks Lesia). the images were fussy cut from a DCWV page

I had this great piece of glitter paper that I wanted to use . only the pattern on the paper was too large for a standard
card. so I decided to go full size . Didnt make it any easier. not that you want all the details . So without further
adieu , here she is Backpack Brandy from SSD. I'll be using her in a HUGE sidestep card for the back to school challenge @Mema's Crafts. Check back to see the finished card later this week
