my WOWYW post

It is time for What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday, sponsored by Julia at Stamping Ground. today is #275. It has been awhile since I made it while its still Wednesday. LOL

big shot
box of boxes of die cuts. clearly labeled
cabinet doors. i love cabinet doors. covers up all the stuff. not that whats in it isnt organized, it just looks better.

Proof Today was a GOOD DAY

Inky fingers !!!

A new post OMG

Yes, beloved readers I actually have something to see.
these are merely a circle die cut and a scalloped circle die cut . combined they sorta look like flowers . these are actually a medium size. wrong scale for an A2 sized card tho. i'll show you in a few more pics
these are smaller but the same thing
these are oval die cuts and lacy oval die cuts combined
here we have a stamped rose that has been stickled and mounted on a lacy oval die cut . oops no watermark.
Sorry about the bad pic. here we have 4 dif sized scalloped cirle die cuts. i edged them to give it shadows.
here's the concept that uses the above pieces. almost as good as a stick figure drawing LOL
the piece de resistance.....the mock up. see what i mean about being off scale? its almost off scale for a a4 card. the mock up is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2

Finally A little productivity

Yes, It has been a while
You may have seen this particular card front. I added the insides today.
both inner and outer sentiments are from SU. This card is now complete.
This card front may look familiar. Even Christmas-y.
Looks like it is a Christmas Card. Even on the inside. LOL. When you make your own cards, you don't have to wait for an approaching Holiday. You can have Christmas cards in JUNE ! I love making Christmas cards any time of year
This particular card was originally made in a SU workshop. I made a few changes to
make it my own.
Its designed so you can slip a gift card in there. I added some snow flakes using an EF from Paper Studio . And of course a little sentiment.

That's enough for this post. i'll save some for the next post

2 sympathy cards

My Mom asked me to make a sympathy card for someone she used to work with who passed on. I also needed one for my fellow paper blogger whose Mom recently passed. I still need one for one of my SBS bloggers. The first one I tried to make elegant as well as CAS. the 2nd is monochromatic
Outside. BTW the paper I used for the photo booth walls is Bird Song in the 12x12from Graphic 45. the line has been discontinued. I have 24 of the same sheet. If you want to purchase any, visit my website @www.ibaladysgallery.com and leave me a comment.
Inside

I also have other Graphic 45 12x12 discontinued paper lines available
Looks like I should have chosen different paper for the photo booth walls with this card. and changed the transparency on the watermark. you can barely see the embossed butterflies. if you click on the image, it should enlarge the detail enough to see the butterflies. i think the next monochromatic card i make, i'll increase the range of blues i use.
